Where do the emission factors come from? The built-in factors are indicative, aligned with the UK DESNZ/DEFRA 2024 conversion factors and published life-cycle averages. For audited reporting, replace them with your country's official factors in More → Factor library (you can import them as CSV).
Does the app follow ISO 14001? ISO 14001 defines the environmental management system, not a carbon formula. TriCarbon quantifies greenhouse gases with the ISO 14064-1:2018 categories and GHG Protocol scopes and keeps the ISO 14001 aspects register (clause 6.1.2); the results serve as monitoring evidence (clause 9.1) and objectives (clause 6.2).
How do I change language or dark mode? More → Settings: English or Crnogorski; Automatic, Light or Dark.
How do I move data between iPhone and computer? Export the event file (More → Export) – it opens in TriCarbon for Ubuntu – or export Excel/CSV. On the iPhone, open CSV, Excel or JSON files with More → Import data.
